Tonight is the March PTI Blog Hop. It's always so fun to see all the different creations coming out of the same challenge. This month the challenge was to make your own background paper using a background building set or just images you make into your own background pattern. First, I'm going to show my completed card and than show you a step-by-step of how my background was created.

Here is the finished background. You'll noticed I only did the black accents on half the paper so I could use the other half for another project without black. I used the tiny solid tulip from the Wishing You set as an accent in the circles in black to match the theme of my card.

THAT is one wicked background DP you made...oh my gosh it's just stunning! And I love these colors together - yummy! I have found New Leaf to be intimidating, but you did a fantastic job!

That is so pretty, reminds me of porcelain tiles. Especially when you pair it up with the tulips. Very nice!
